Privacy policy

We publish this document to explain why we collect and process personal data in the course of our business.  

 

What are personal data?  

It is all information that enables us to easily distinguish one person from another. It can relate to this person directly (e.g. their name, identification number, and sometimes even their email address or internet account), as well as information that they do not directly describe. They concern, for example, his characteristics, his health, his views, his place of residence, his dependencies, his race or his religion.  

 

What personal information are we talking about in our case?  

This is data that our customers, contractors, partners and employees make available to us in connection with the use of our services, cooperation with us or employment. These data are processed by us.  

 

What does the processing of data mean?  

Data processing is understood to mean all activities that we can carry out with personal data, regardless of whether they involve active use, such as collecting, retrieving, recording, combining, modifying or sharing, or with passive activities such as saving, restricting, Delete or destroy are connected.  

 

Who is responsible for data processing (i.e. has an influence on the processing and security of the data)?

On what legal basis and for what purpose do we process your data?  

Any processing of your data must take place on an appropriate legal basis in accordance with applicable law. This may be based on your consent to the processing of your data or on other legal provisions that allow it and that are set out in the Law of 10 May 2018 on the protection of personal data and in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons during the processing of personal data and on the free movement of data and the repeal of Directive 95/46 / EC (referred to as “GDPR”).  

Your data can be processed by us for various purposes such as:  

  •  If you are our customer or a person interested in using our services or products, we process your data in connection with or in preparation for a contract with you. This always happens with your knowledge and will. When you state your intention to enter into a contract, you know what personal data you need to sign it and when you have signed it you know what data you have provided or will provide at a later date,
  • If you are a user or customer of our services or products, e.g. Services in connection with the project planning, installation and commissioning of industrial control and automation systems, we process your data on the basis of your consent or a corresponding assignment agreement (processing on your behalf). Your consent is voluntary – remember that you can withdraw it at any time. In this case, we will stop providing the service and immediately delete all data that you have made available to us.
  • We can also process your data in connection with the need to guarantee the security of people and objects or the security of networks and information. This is our legitimate interest. If video surveillance is used for this purpose, you will be informed in the form of appropriate signs or pictograms.

If you are interested in working for us, your data will be processed in the form of an application or a résumé that you send us. This is done with your knowledge and your written consent, which you can revoke at any time. In this case, we will not consider your application and we will immediately delete all data you have submitted. However, as soon as you are employed by us, the further processing of your data and the mandatory scope of the data transmission and further processing by us are determined by labor law.

 

Who do we share your data with?  

In accordance with applicable law, we can pass on your data to bodies that process it on our behalf, e.g. B. to subcontractors of our services. In addition, we are obliged to make your data available on request to institutions that are entitled to do so under other laws, such as Courts or law enforcement agencies. However, such an exchange only takes place if you submit an application to us and state the law that allows you to do so on request. A transmission of our customers’ data to third countries or international organizations, i.e. outside the economic territory of the European Union is not provided. you have the same level of protection for your data in all EU member states.

 

How long will we process your data?  

We take great care to limit the scope of our data collection and the time it takes to process it to the necessary minimum. To this end, we carry out systematic reviews of the paper and electronic documents in our possession and remove unnecessary documents whose useful life has expired. Remember that the time at which your data is processed, depending on the basis on which we received it, can be determined by separate legal provisions that are independent of us and that may impose an obligation to store your data, regardless of your will or desire. Examples are labor law, social security law or accounting regulations.

If our data is to be used for a purpose other than that for which it was collected, you will always be informed by us and you have the opportunity to object.

 

What are your rights in relation to your data?  

When we process your personal data, you always have the right to:  

  •  Request access to data,
  • to correct data,
  •  Request for deletion,
  • or restrictions on processing activities,
  • to object to the processing of data,
  • Data transfer, including obtaining a copy.

You can also withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data. In this case we will delete your personal data immediately, unless there is a legal obligation to further process it. For example, if you request the deletion of your data in the personnel file, we will delete your data from the database immediately. However, if you have purchased goods or services from us in accordance with accounting regulations, we will continue to hold them in our financial and accounting records and process them for a period of 5 consecutive calendar years from the date of purchase.

If you are of the opinion that we have in any way – which we do not want – violated your rights or did not guarantee the security of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data – to be submitted.

Automated decision making and profiling of information.

We do not make any automated decisions based on your data, i.e. Decisions that would take place without human intervention. We also do not take any measures to create a profile of you personally.

 

How do we protect your data?  

To ensure the security of your data, we use the organizational and technical measures required by law. We have installed the necessary physical security measures on our premises to prevent unauthorized access to your data. Our employees have the necessary permits and are only allowed to limit data, i.e. process only to the extent necessary for the proper performance of their tasks. Our employees have the appropriate agreements on entrusting the processed data and are allowed to process the data to a limited extent, i.e. only insofar as this is necessary for the proper performance of their business tasks.

The security of your electronically transmitted data is guaranteed by our 128-bit SSL security protocol. Its graphic symbol is a green padlock that appears in your browser at the address of our website. By encrypting the page before it is transmitted, you can be sure that you are accessing our website, which has not been modified in any way on its way to you via the Internet.
